    Choosing the correct adhesive for the task can make a huge difference in the success that you will achieve in creating the type of bond that you need.  Be sure to follow the directions on the package for best results.

    Fabric Glue Stick

    This narrow glue marker allows for more precision when applying.
    The blue air-soluble ink shows where glue has been applied.
    The colour fades as the glue dries.

    Any remaining glue is water soluble and will wash out of most fabrics.
    It is always a good idea to do a test sample first to be sure it can
    be removed to your satisfaction.

    Use for temporary basting and positioning.

    To refill the Glue Stick, just twist the glue stick up until it stops, pull off the empty cartridge and push the new cartridge into the pen base and twist down.  Replace the cap on the glue stick.

    Aleene's Fabric Fusion

    This glue is a unique clear, water-based, nontoxic urethane adhesive that provides a permanent fabric bond. Unlike solvent-based adhesives, it is dry cleanable and does not string while you apply it to fabric. Formulated to adhere fabric to a variety of surfaces and embellishments, including: nearly every type of fabric, pom-poms, glass and acrylic rhinestones, plastic sequins, beads, plus light and heavy trims. 4 oz bottle.

    Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue

    This wonderful glue goes on clear.  It dries clear and strong.  It has low-odour, thick consistency and is environmentally safe.  The easy to squeeze bottle reduces hand fatigue.
    An all-purpose glue, it is considered the ultimate in glues due to its versatility for craft projects and household repairs.  It is not to be used for washable wearables but it works well on paper, wood and paper-mache. Cleans up with water.

    100% water-soluble glue dries in minutes, holds firmly until moistened or washed, and does not feel stiff when dry. A syringe applicator allows controlled placement of droplets of glue.
