Mary Alice is a christening gown with an embroidered panel to the ruffle. Jennifer is a front ruffled daygown. Lindsey is a gown that buttons in the back. Melissa buttons in the front and has a round collar. All the dresses are trimmed with lace, beading and ribbon.

(Her older sister can wear the same dress found in Handsewing IV). Laura is a smocked daygown/nightgown. Priscilla is a full daygown with a round yoke. All the dresses are trimmed with lace, beading and ribbon. One size.

French Handsewing III

The three girls’ dresses are trimmed with lace, beading and ribbon. Lee is designed with a ruffle and embroidered panel in the skirt. There are three bands of lace at the yoke. Lucie has embroidered insertion in the skirt and a trimmed square collar. Mary Alice has an embroidered panel and is ruffled. She matches the Mary Alice baby gown in Handsewing I, so sisters can have matching outfits.

Three more French Handsewing dresses for your little girls. Elizabeth is a sleeveless dress ruffled at the shoulder and hem. Mary Virginia is a round yoked embroidered dress opened in the back with a ruffled under slip. Her little sister can be found in Handsewing II above. Tiffany has a round lace yoke and a scalloped hem. An A-line slip is included as well as the embroidery designs.

Michael

Michael is a versatile collection of shirts and pants for boys. The pants have a pleated front and elasticized back waistband with four pant lengths--short, above knee, below knee with cuff or knickers and long. Michael's shirt buttons in back, has cuffed sleeves and can be worn in or as an overblouse. View A and B feature a 2 pc. sailor-like collar with inset for use with braid or trim. Coat

View A is a double breasted coat that can be smocked or unsmocked. It has turned-up embroidered cuffs. View B is a basic yoke coat that can be smocked or unsmocked. Both views have either a piped collar or a piped collar that is trimmed with gathered lace edging. Patterns are included for a brimmed bonnet and a tam. An embroidery design is included for the collar, cuff, tam bow and bonnet back. Smocking design is also included.

Anne is a mid-calf length dress with a smocked or cross stitched inset. The smocking designs for the bows and red-birds, as well as the cross stitch alphabet are included. View A has a gathered skirt, puffed sleeves, Peter Pan collar with piping and gathered eyelet trim and barrel cuffs edged with piping and gathered trim. View B has softly pleated skirt, puffed sleeves, and piped Peter Pan collar and barrel cuffs. View C ha a softly pleated skirt, 3/4 sleeves edged with piping and gathered eyelet trim as well as gathered eyelet trim at the neckline finished with a self-bias band. Designed for 10 rows of smocking on an inset.
