Baby Bishop Dress

This pattern is a revised edition of the original Grace Knott Baby Dress, expanded to include four sizes, 3, 6 12 and 18 months. The original, View A,with a traditional center back closing. The new, View B, has a new center front button placket opening. Sleeves can be smocked or bias bound. Diaper Cover Panties have been added and come in two sizes with either an elastic leg or smocked leg. Three design graphs are included in the pattern along with several suggestions for variations on the pattern

Baby Nightie

This Grace Knott Baby Nightie pattern has been one of the most popular smocking patterns for years. View A was in the original pattern. View B, with the front opening is new. There is an optional drawstring bottom to the nightgown. A smocking design is included. Two sizes are included in the pattern: Small for newborn to 8 lb. and Medium for 8 to 11 lb.

A versatile one piece romper with two styles that can serve a young boy or girl from 6 to 18 months. Once outgrown, it can be altered into a shirt. Includes charted design 'Palace Guards"

Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams offers the possiblity of a dress in two lengths or a full length nightgown or robe, depending on your choice of fabrics. Make it in one co lour or with contrasting front panel and back yoke. Smock or embellish with heirloom laces and tucks. Easy fit and construction with CF opening for all views. Two smocking design plates included.

Peasant Bishop

Classic Yoke Dress

This is an updated version of the Grace Knott original basic yoke dress. Two sleeve and collar choices. Size 8 and 10 offers two smocked skirt styles, solid or split smocking. Skirts are smocked front and back. A choice of charted smocking designs are included.

Belle

Belle offers 3 dress styles plus a petticoat. View A has an heirloom layered look. Swiss insertion and lace define the yoke and hem. The sleeve is trimmed to match. Petticoat hem of Swiss edging forms the lower ruffle. Button back closing. View B is a simplified version with embroidered contrasting yoke defied by lace insertion. Lace-edged smocked sleeve and lace shaped skirt detail complete the outfit. View C has a smocked yoke edged with grosgrain. Narrow Swiss edging trims the sleeve and accent the princess lines. Petticoat has plain self ruffle. Smocking design is included.

Created to fit the 18-191/2" vinyl dolls such as "The American Girl Doll" and others too numerous to mention. Three views--smocked, heirloom and embroidered offer lots of possibilities. The dress has lots of lace, a lace yoke, lace-trimmed neckline, hem and smocked sleeves The slip forms the lower ruffle but can be worn as a regular slip under the smocked dress or can double as a sundress or pinafore. Designer panties and the smocking designs are included.

The Princess Dress

Created to fit the 18-191/2" vinyl dolls such as "The American Girl Doll" and others too numerous to mention. Just like the original GLK dress, this doll's pattern is smocked from shoulder to waist in front and back. It has a second view smocked in the front only with a plain back and big bow tie. Long and short sleeves are interchangeable. As a surprise bonus this pattern also has instructions for making padded doll's clothes hangers.

The Peasant Dress

Modeled after the original GLK Peasant Dress, this doll's version offers both long and short sleeves, and ruffle sleeves. The slip could be a sundress or pinafore and when the ruffle is lengthened it could become a full length nightgown.

The Yoke Dress

The doll's version can be smocked front and back, or smocked in front only with high yoke and big bow tie in the back. There are two collar styles and both long and short sleeves to be edged in lace. The slip is trimmed at the neckline and armholes with gathered ruffled skirt.

The Dolly's Judy

This doll's dress form has been designed to assist you in designing and making clothes for your porcelain doll or to display her finished wardrobe. Sized to co-ordinate with the patterns for doll clothes by A Garden of Smocking Designs, this pattern offers a range of judys for 12", 14", 16", and 19 1/2" dolls. You can choose to co-ordinate the fabric with the dress to be displayed or to make a working judy of dressmaker's muslin to save wear and tear on your porcelain doll
