This pattern is a versatile smocked bubble and dress. All version are adaptable for smocking, embroidery, cross-stitch or plain-yoke insertion. Justin and Julie differ only in their sleeve application--Justin is a straight sleeve and Julie is a puff sleeve; both sleeves are inter-changeable with both bubble and dress. All three versions button-down the back and have a Peter Pan collar. The bubble features your choice of snap or velcro crotch fastenings.

Julia's DayGown is a tailored gown pattern for the baby. The gown, which buttons down the front, has a piece of insertion from the shoulder to the hem on both sides of the font. A short tailored sleeve and a gathered sleeve are included. The collar included is a Peter Pan style.

Beth is a waisted dress which has contrasting fabric detail at the front waistline in the form of a scalloped strip. The sleeves are gathered on a band. Two collars are included: a Peter Pan Collar and a scalloped collar. The back is belted.

Christening Ensemble III

Christening dress, slip, blanket and bonnet are included. The front of the christening dress is one piece, smocked in the bodice area. The gown neckline can be finished with a Peter Pan collar or lace edging. Three sleeves are included: a smocked sleeve and two gathered sleeves with different degrees of fullness. A template for a scalloped hem edge is also included. The blanket has a hood on one corner. The bonnet can later be used as a handkerchief.

Knicker Yoke-Overlay is a knicker-length romper with a loose yoke overlay or the collar of your choice. The romper may be gathered or smocked to the yoke. A selection of shadow embroidery designs are included. Lace, Tatting, or trim may be added to the bottom of the overlay or collars.

Classic Bubble

Classic Bubble is great for baby boy or girl. It has four collar styles to which your favourite trim may be added or the square collar can be trimmed with faggoting. The bubble allows for six rows of smocking or soft gathers across the front.

Frannie Toddler's Pocket Dress

Frannie is an adaptation of a 1930's garment that has been drafted to reflect simplicity. The curved front yoke, which incorporates a small sleeve cap to protect delicate shoulders from the sun, buttons at the back and is piped to highlight the design line. the neckline can be embellished with a binding only or may include your choice of collar style. The skirt can be smocked or left unsmocked, with the added feature of one of the included pocket styles.

This daytime sleeper is a footed garment that buttons down the front and the inseam. It is smocked in two sections on the front and one larger section on the back using the designs included in the pattern. This garment was designed on actual babies, so it is true to the size listed on the pattern.
