Lacy Peek-a-Boo is a T-shape that ties together with ribbon; the Traditional Hanky Bonnet designed for baby to wear and later to be carried by the bride;, Antique Christening Bonnet which is fashioned after a bonnet made in the 1920's; the Little French Bonnet which is a quick and easy version of an old favourite; or the Little Scalloped Cap which is lined and has a chin strap to close. PRISCILLA'S LAYETTE

FOR BOY & GIRL BABY

View 1 is styled for a boy or girl baby with long sleeves and is trimmed with tatting. View 2 is perfect for any baby with a bias bound gathered neck and three-quarter length sleeves. View 2 is a lacy daygown with three-quarter length sleeves trimmed with lace and entredeux. All three view are the original 20" length and embellished with feather stitch embroidery. A baby slip pattern is included. The Classic Bonnet is lined and has a crown. The Little Sacque is just the thing to keep baby warm on those cool nights or when going out. All are easy to make.

RAGLAN CHRISTENING GOWNS

View 1 gown is elegant but simple in design. The lace embellishment at the yoke is accented with Featherstitching. The neck is finished with entredeux and flat edging. The hem features two rows of lace insertions with lace edging at the bottom. In view 2 the yoke is embellished with tucks, lace insertion and embroidery. View 3 features lace insertion and edging forming a panel down the front of the gown. Lovely embroidery accents the front. Long sleeves are embellished with lace and embroidery and finished with beading, ribbon and lace. Entredeux is used to join the sleeve to the gown. There are three Diaper Shirt versions: Boys Straight Sleeve, Girls Smocked Sleeve and Girls Bias Bound Sleeve Two Shadow Embroidery designs of cute little chicks are included to embellish your creations. View 1 is an elegant little dress with lovely lace embellishment but is surprisingly easy to make. Lace insertion graces the front with embroidered accents. Entredeux and lace finishes the neck and sleeves. View 2 is slightly gathered around the neck and features tucks and lace insertion at the yoke bordered with embroidery. The hem features lace insertion with embroidered accents as do the sleeves. Entredeux is used to attach the sleeves. View 3 is simple in design and sweet as can be. Featherstitching and Seed Stitch embellish the front. Featherstitching is worked along the shoulder seam too. The neck is gently gathered. Baby Slip pattern is included.

ANTIQUE TODDLER DRESSES

These are reproductions of Baby dresses worn in the early 1900’s. They have the appeal of the round yoke dress without the fuss to make them. All dresses have a raised front and back square yoke. Yokes and hems are embellished with lace insertion and tucks, or feather stitch embroidery. Short puffy sleeves and a slip with ruffled hem completes the look.

OLD FASHIONED DRESS AND APRON

The dresses have a raised front yoke and a dropped back yoke which makes it suitable for the piped belt or sash tie. Dress view 1 has a piped collar, yoke, tab and back belt. The short puffy sleeves are bias bound. Dress view 2 is the same as view 1 but features long sleeves with a self fabric ruffle. View 3 is perfect for dress up. The collar and tab are embellished with gathered lace as are the puffy sleeves. The scalloped hem comes with an embroidery design and the sash adds the final touch. The raised yoke apron is as cute as a button with tucks in the skirt and open down the back. A slip is included to complete the outfit.

View 1 is exquisitely simple in design. It features long cuffed sleeves and bias bound neck accented with featherstitching. The lace embellished yoke is bordered with tucks. Additional featherstitching is on the yoke and hem. View II is one of the prettiest gowns baby could own. It features 3/4 length sleeves edged with entredeux and lace. The dainty yoke is embellished with lace. The hem is edged with lace insertion, gathered lace edging and a sweet embroidery design. The style includes directions for making a short baby dress with puff sleeves. View III is a charming and graceful Christening Gown.
