Classic waist dress with lined bodice, full gathered skirt and short puff sleeves. Sleeves and neck are finished with bias and gathered eyelet edging. Bodice has tiny shank buttons. Pinafore may be worn as a sundress. There are 2 bodice variations: shadow applique or smocked. Both are lined and trimmed with insertions, edgings and ribbons. Ribbon sashes may be made of fabric. Waist sashes tie in a large bow in the back. Heirloom instructions are for machine but may be done by hand.
