Heavenly Bliss

Heavenly Bliss is a beautiful christening ensemble featureing a semi-long length undergown with a matching button-on apron. The apron is embellished with lace shaped scallops and surface embroderies. A tie on sash and buttons at the waistband allows the apron to be removed after the ceremony if desired. The ends of the sash are also embellished with a matching fancy band. The undergown is style with a high waist bodice featuring shadow work and surface embroideies. the full skirt is accented along the hem with a fancy band of French lace insertion and tatted edging. The peterpan collar is lightly adorned with daisy flowers and lace edging. Tatting is a possible trim. The mid-length puffed sleeves are embellished with a fancy band of entredeux, beading, and lace edging. A ribbon ties at the band. The matching bonnet is made with a sweet scalloped band, embroidered in a coordinating embroidery design. One sprig of flowers adorns the crown and the edges are trimmed with tatting and entredeux.

Sweet William is an adorable unlined dolman-sleeved baby bunting with back buttoned opening, drawstring bottom and long sleeves with attached mittens. The front is sweetly adorned with darling little lamb dimensional applique sprinkled with lazy daisy flowers and other hand embroidery techniques. Hand embroidery also embellishes the peter pan collar and seams of the armhole and grow tuck. This easy-to-make baby bunting can be used as a lightweight baby sleeper or as an outer garment to keep your precious babe warm and cozy for the winter months ahead, or you can eliminate the casing on the lower edge to make the perfect baby daygown. Lace edging or tatted edging is used to embellish the collar and grow tuck. A ribbon tie closes the drawstring bottom of the bunting and lace edging trims the bottom of the sleeper.

The beautiful zigzag of the colla ris repeated in a Madeira appliqued hem and lace-shaped design. Cascades of berries adorn the frou frou bows at the empire waist bodice. The fancy hem features padded satin stitch, feather stitch, granito shadow stitch and bullion. Point de Paris stitch attaches the hem.

Baby Elizabeth is an adorable puffed sleeve, high-yoke dress with scalloped buttonhole neck and hemline. The front yoke and skirt are beautifully adorned with embroidery. Soft pleats add fullness beneath the armholes Also included is a precious embroidered baby sacque with matching diaper cover and bonnet. The sacque ties at the neck edge. The lined diaper cover is trimmed with lace edging at the leg openings. Elastic chinches the waistband and leg openings and the sides button together along the scalloped edge. The matching bonnet is styled with an embroidered brim, and is assembled with entredeux and lace edging inside the sections and around the edges A ribbon rose attaches the ribbon ties to each side.
