    Salem Translucent Cutting Mats

The result of years of testing!

    • These wonderful cutting mats will not warp or crack after exposure to severe changes in temperature--can withstand the heat or the cold

    • These mats are tough enough to cut on, yet soft enough to tack into.

    • These mats can be rolled up for easy storage and after 30 to 45 minutes of adjusting to normal room temperature, the mats can be unrolled and the "memory" will allow the mat to relax and return to its original flat state.

    • These mats won't dull rotary cutter blades as fast.

    • You can even use the tacks/pins to attach patterns and fabrics to the mat to prevent slippage or crawling as you cut.

    • The red 1" grid lines extend an inch beyond the numbers for reference points when fabric is covering the center portion of the board.

    • You can also place these cutting mats on top of a light table for tracing or designing patterns.

    • Mats are 1/8" thick and translucent to allow light to pass through.

    Care Instructions:

    • always cut with a sharp blade

    • use only quality rotary cutting blades - avoid using art knives or Exacto type blades on this mat.

    • be sure to hold your rotary cutter perfectly vertical to the mat--do not cut with the rotary cutter blade angled.

    • be sure to allow the mat to adjust to normal temperature after it has been in the heat or cold before unrolling.
