Quilting and Sashiko Stencils

These high quality, precision computer cut stencils are made from a high quality, recyclable, flat plastic.
They have a smooth side and a non-slip, slightly textured back to make it easier to mark your fabric.
Many of the designs have a tradition in Japanese Sashiko but also a cross-over to quilting.
It is so much faster to mark your work for Quilting or Sashiko using a stencil
plus the accuracy of the marking helps to produce a professional looking product.

Use the chalk pencils which have a clay base for longer lasting but removable markings
or use your favorite method.

Tip:  If your chalk pencil keeps breaking when you are trying to sharpen it, put it in the
freezer for a little while.  Sharpen gently with a sharp, hand sharpener, not a mechanical or electric sharpener.
