Baby Nightgowns

A back opening nightgown based on the classic bishop style, with two sleeve variations, that can be smocked as shown in nightgown A or can be simply gathered onto a bias neck and embellished with embroidery and laces as in nightgown B . A panel of entredeux insertion is embroidered and edged with gathered lace before attaching o the centre front of the gown. Sleeves are gathered and edged with beading and lace.

The Sweet Pea pattern shown above is a simple basic yoke and pinafore pattern.. Unfortunately I do not have any more of these but if you happen to have this pattern, the Pinafore and Basic Variations pattern shown to the left has lots of variations with detailed directions for sizes 2, 4 and 6. No pattern is included.
