    Needle Tatting

    Are you frustrated with shuttle tatting but still want to learn to tat?

    Whereas Shuttle tatting can be complicated to learn, most people quickly acquire needle tatting skills
    and are creating projects in no time.
    Try following along with Barbara Fosters DVD.
    There is really only one stitch to learn.
    All the stitches are formed on a long sewing needle and then removed from the needle
    to make rings and chains.
    Pattern directions for needle tatting and shuttle tatting are identical.
    Once you learn the basics, you can follow directions in all tatting books, even those that you uncover at antique shops or in the attic.
